Published Route Prices
BUF Airport Taxi Fare Policy
Published route prices are base per-vehicle fares, not per-person prices, unless a specific page states otherwise. A published base fare assumes a normal point-to-point trip within the standard passenger, luggage and vehicle setup. Normal tolls, bridge charges, taxes and standard route-related fees are included in the flat fare.
Per VehiclePublished standard route prices apply to the vehicle, not each passenger.
Final Booking Details MatterPassenger count, luggage, vehicle type, extra stops, pets, child seats and waiting can change the final confirmed amount.
Use the current rate page: Older articles or archived pages may show earlier fares. Use the current
Airport Taxi Rates page and your confirmed booking for current pricing.
Toronto fare classification: The published Downtown Toronto route applies to Downtown Toronto. Toronto Pearson Airport (YYZ), Mississauga, Oakville, Burlington, Hamilton and other Ontario destinations have their own route fares. Do not treat one Toronto price as a blanket GTA fare.
Canadian city-wide fare classification: When a published BUF flat fare exists for a Canadian city, that city fare applies to a legitimate hotel, residence, business, university, hospital, attraction or other address physically located in that city, unless a specific route or sub-zone fare overrides it. For example, Hamilton destinations use the Hamilton fare, St. Catharines destinations use the St. Catharines fare, and Niagara-on-the-Lake destinations use the Niagara-on-the-Lake fare.
Niagara Falls, Ontario is a special fare zone: Do not apply one blanket city-wide price to every Niagara Falls, Ontario address. Recognized Fallsview/tourist-zone hotels and approved tourist destinations use the applicable Fallsview/tourist fare, while other residential/non-tourist Niagara Falls, Ontario destinations may use a different published fare. Use the exact hotel, attraction or address to classify the destination correctly.
No Surprise Route Charges
What Your Flat Fare Includes
The confirmed flat fare covers the standard point-to-point transportation price for the approved route. Customers do not separately reimburse the driver for normal tolls, bridge charges, taxes or standard route-related fees.
Tolls IncludedNormal tolls required for the confirmed standard route are included in the flat fare.
Bridge Charges IncludedNormal bridge-crossing charges on the confirmed route, including cross-border bridge charges when applicable, are included.
Taxes IncludedApplicable taxes included in the transportation fare are not added separately to the customer afterward.
No Surprise Border FeeThere is no separate standard border-crossing fee added simply because the trip crosses the U.S.–Canada border.
How to read a confirmed flat fare: Once a standard point-to-point fare is confirmed, normal tolls, bridge charges, taxes and standard route-related fees for that approved route are already included. They are not added again as separate normal route charges.
Only approved extras can change the total: vehicle upgrades, additional child seats, pet fees, extra stops, additional waiting, changes to the confirmed route or service, and the 4% card/online processing fee when applicable.
Vehicle Capacity
Passenger and Luggage Limits
Passenger and luggage totals must be accurate before confirmation. Oversized luggage, strollers, sports equipment, boxes and other large items can reduce usable vehicle space.
| Vehicle | Passengers | Normal luggage configuration | Important note |
| Sedan |
Up to 4 |
Up to 4 regular bags |
Oversized or unusually shaped luggage can reduce usable space. |
| Van |
Up to 6 |
Normally up to 5 regular bags in the online booking configuration |
Actual luggage capacity depends on bag size, shape and the specific vehicle. |
| Larger group |
More than 6 |
More luggage than one vehicle can safely hold |
Two vehicles may be required. |
Van luggage rule: Some vans may physically accommodate approximately 5–6 smaller regular bags, but customers should use 5 regular bags as the normal online-booking capacity unless dispatch confirms otherwise.
Vehicle Upgrades
Van and Luxury Vehicle Policy
Standard UpgradeA van or upgraded/luxury vehicle is generally +$20 when applicable and available.
AvailabilityThe requested vehicle is subject to confirmation and actual fleet availability.
Van CapacityUp to 6 passengers and normally up to 5 regular bags in the booking configuration.
Two VehiclesMore than 6 passengers or excessive luggage may require a second vehicle.
Do not assume six bags will fit simply because the van holds six passengers. Passenger seating, suitcase dimensions, strollers, carry-ons and the specific van all affect cargo capacity.

BUF Airport and Border Waiting Time
The current standard waiting policy is the same for the included period at BUF Airport and at the U.S.–Canada border.

Booking Changes
Cancellation and Modification Policy
Cancellations and normal booking modifications are free when made at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup.
Inside 24 hours: Contact dispatch as soon as possible. Charges may apply once a driver or vehicle has been committed, has begun traveling toward the pickup, or the requested change creates additional cost.
Payment Options
How Payment Works
Cash to DriverCash is accepted in the vehicle and is the preferred payment method when practical.
Card to DriverCard payment is normally available in the vehicle and carries a 4% processing fee.
Online PrepaymentApproved online prepayment is available and carries a 4% processing fee.
No payment is required simply to submit and secure an online booking when the customer plans to pay the driver. For online prepayment, use the official payment portal and enter the correct Booking ID so the payment can be matched to the reservation. PayPal and Venmo are not accepted payment methods.
Payment transaction: When a reservation is paid electronically, the trip payment should be completed as one transaction rather than split across multiple cards or payment methods unless dispatch explicitly approves another arrangement.
Travel-Day Problems
Flight Delays, Baggage Delays and No-Shows
Flight DelaysWhen an accurate flight number is provided, dispatch can monitor the flight and coordinate pickup around the actual arrival whenever practical.
Delayed BaggageIf baggage claim or airport processing is taking longer than expected, contact the driver or dispatch.
Included WaitingThe standard airport waiting policy includes up to 60 minutes / 1 hour before additional waiting charges may apply.
No-ShowA reservation may be treated as a no-show when the driver is at the confirmed pickup point, the included waiting period has passed, and the passenger cannot be reached or does not appear.
Route Changes
Additional Stops and Different Destinations

Additional stops, significant route changes, detours or a different final destination can change the fare and schedule.
